With heavy downpour since Saturday, we still carried on with our World Service Day Activity on Sunday 13th October at Pwani School for the Mentally Challenged. We started at 11 am. Also, children from Mlaleo Special School & Kadzandani Special School joined in the activity. In total, we had 270 children, teachers, volunteers, and parents.
After Abu's Magic Show, we served all the children, teachers, helpers and some parents with hot cooked lunch together with soft drinks, water, biscuits, bananas, and sweets.
Due to continuous rainfall, we were unable to play any games.
Mombasa Pwani School for the Mentally Challenged where the activity was held were also given cooked dinner, banana & juice.
All three schools received a football each.
