On Sunday 21st March 2021 our club handed over boreholes no 8 & 9 in Msambweni. This is in the south coast going toward Lunga Lunga (Kenya/Tanzania border). These will be our borehole nos. 38 & 39 since we embarked on this project.
The borehole at Manguruwe Mosque in Marigiza Village was donated by the Ganiwallas' family. The other borehole at Chungani Village in Bomani area was donated by the W-Foundation from Canada. We sincerely thank both the donors for their kind donations.
Here is a very famous saying by Mikhail Gorbachev and we quote: "We must treat water as if it were the most precious thing in the world, the most valuable natural resource. Be economical with water! Don't waste it! We still have time to do something about this problem before it is too late."
After the borehole handing over at both the venues all the village people received 300 loaves of bread and goody bags. Kudos to our Project Convenor, Lion Shoeb and his team.
