On Sunday 24th February 2019 we visited a village in Vipingo area were we handed over our 17th Borehole and then proceeded to Kanamai area were we handed over our 18th Borehole.
The borehole in the village in Vipingo will serve around 4000 people and also some others from the nearby villages.
This borehole was kindly donated by Mr Taha Bhujwalla from Canada.
The second borehole in Kanamai was done in a school and will serve the schools together with people from the surrounding areas, which totals to around 5000.
This borehole was kindly donated by Dr. Ajay and Lion Mayuri Patel in memory of the late family members.
In both the places were were very warming welcomed with traditional dances and a welcome drink of 'Madafu'.
Our President, Lion Zainul told them that they should use the boreholes with care and they should not sell water to anyone. The same is free for all.
After handing over of the boreholes the children were given packets of juice, crisps, biscuits and sweets.
We says 'ASANTE SANA' to the donors and your blessings will come from the people who are going to benefit from the said boreholes. Just to let you know that the water in both the boreholes were very clean and salt free inspite of them not being far from the sea and that is the greatest gift of Al-Mighty.
